Founded in 1998 and based in San Francisco, Softagon has expanded its capabilities to create software and provide services to clients in world financial centers by opening an office in New York. The office builds on relationships with current clients and business partners - among them, leading prime brokers and hedge fund administrators. Softagon also expects to offer clients additional expertise in Microsoft technologies - in line with Microsoft's expanded focus on capital markets and financial services clients.

The New York office is headed by Softagon senior consultant Mina Mistry and draws on the talent and expertise of Softagon's San Francisco-based team. Softagon's new proximity to hedge funds and other investment management firms encourages the close collaboration common to preliminary discussions and early design meetings. Softagon's Software Development Process ensures effective contributions from all of our Softagon's resources.

Softagon's commitment to the global nature of capital market is strengthened further by close collaboration with offshore technical resources - including those based at a development center in the Philippines.
